Raindrop Therapy — As luxurious as it sounds, this 1 ½ hour massage treatment is inspired by a native American legend of the Lakota tradition. Using both the Vita Flex technique, a type of acupressure, developed by master healer Bernard Jensen, and a series of feather strokes based on this ancient Indian tradition, the raindrop treatment brings deep relaxation and comfort to the body as it melts away the aches and pains of the physical body as well as deeply relaxing the nervous system and easing the tensions of the mind and heart. Using nine essential oils — the process begins by releasing the spine through working the corresponding points on the feet.
As the body moves into a state of deep relaxation and the mind quiets, the oils are then “dropped” along the spine. The work on the spine utilizes a number of different strokes that are designed to increase the circulation of the blood, ease muscular tension, support the vertebrae and nourish the nervous system. Additionally, several of the oils applied also help to clear toxins and stagnant energy from the body. Once the oils have all been applied and the back has been massaged, the treatment is enhanced through the application of hot towels that support an even deeper relaxation.
These restorative oils are absorbed by the body and are within your bloodstream within 20 minutes. The oils stay in the body from five to seven days and are discharged like other nutrients. Many clients report increased energy, alleviation of back pain, and a general sense of clarity after a treatment. Another benefit of Raindrop Therapy is its ability to boost the immune system due to the antiviral, antibacterial, and antiseptic properties of the oils. The oils used in this treatment are Young Living therapeutic grade essential oils. The specific oils used are oregano, thyme, basil, cypress, wintergreen, marjoram, peppermint, Aroma Siez and Valor. Please allow two hours for your experience.
